Deadline to submit your abstract: JUNE 4, 2024 by 4:00PM (Eastern time)

The abstract submission system will close at the deadline.

Eligibility

• This competition is open to residents enrolled in a postgraduate residency training program (PGY1 to PGY5) in Internal Medicine (IM) or General Internal Medicine (GIM) in Canada at the time of submission.  
  
  
• The competition is also open to medical students currently enrolled in a faculty of medicine in Canada at the time of submission.
  
  
• Applicants must be a CSIM Resident or Medical Student Associate, or a Medical Student or Resident Member of the ACP Ontario Chapter.
  
  

Please note that abstracts are NOT eligible for submission if the work has been published as a full paper in a peer-reviewed journal prior to the competition deadline.

Late entries will not be accepted. Abstracts will NOT be accepted via email attachment. The CSIM assumes no responsibility for lost or unreceived abstracts. Please advise the CSIM office promptly if you do not receive a confirmation of submission immediately following submission as receipts are system-generated; please check your junk folder first.

If you are not a member or associate as described above, you MUST complete an application
to join the CSIM or ACP prior to the submission deadline.  Applicants who are not approved members or
associates in good standing of either association will have their abstracts rejected.
