Learning Objectives:
• Better understand epistemology, the domain of philosophy dedicated to studying the nature, origin, and limits of human knowledge. • Analyze current controversies in public health as case studies for considering distinctions between science, evidence, and advocacy, and how these relate to one another - and sometimes clash - in humankind's pursuit of truth.
